Love these Mathias Chaize rings. 

Granted I would never have anywhere to wear these Gucci fall looks (at least for a few years…) they’re all so beautiful. I love the colors and it actually feels like I’m seeing something new being done with the dress. 

I’m really liking all the Brogues/Oxfords that I’ve started seeing around for Fall. I have a Repetto pair that are a nice little reminder of living on the same street as Repetto in Paris while I studied abroad. 

I particularly like the studded Bloch ones, which have a little more sass than the traditional pair. I (clearly) love the Miu Miu ones as well. 

This coat is so chic. Clearly I’m having a Miu Miu moment… 

I think Fleet Foxes is making some of the most beautiful music around. Helplessness Blues has basically just been on my itunes repeat for a month. While this isn’t from HB, I love these take away videos so figured I’d share this. 

A few weeks a go I went to the Dose market in Chicago, which is a great monthly event with Chicago Food and Fashion. I saw this watch at the Luxury Garage Sale area and LOVED it. Its so huge that it goes beyond gaudy into cool. I didn’t end up buying it (sad) and later regretted it a bit. Le sigh…  Btw, those are not my skinny fingers. As a nice lady confirmed while I was trying on rings “wow, you really do have fat fingers.” Oh, yea… I really didn’t know that my fingers are abnormally large. Rub it in.

I have a sick obsession with pugs despite not owning (nor ever owning) one. Regardless, getting my own pug is in the 5 year plan. Granted nothing else is definitely in that plan, well, besides graduating… hopefully.  I just came across this Louis Vuitton ad in the new Vogue and I would love to say I stared at it for 5 minutes because of the clothes, but no, just the pugs. We all must have priorities.

This video may not be the best quality BUT the Wellmont is less than 5 minutes from where I grew up so I personally like it. Unfortunately, until my senior year of high school the Wellmont was a janky movie theater and then obviously I go to college and it becomes a Bowery music venue. 

I never got the chance to see LCD live but I chose this in honor of James Murphy since I’m seeing him at The Mid in Chicago tonight. Woo. 

I love everything about the Marni Fall collection. I’ve always thought Marni is one of those designers that in the essence game* I would be. 

*The essence game is when you say, for example, if I were a fruit what fruit would I be, if I were a country, a color, etc and people have to say the first thing that comes to their head. 

While some opt to refer to seasons in a more traditional way, the most accurate description for my favorite clothing season is sweater weather. I don’t want the relaxing days of summer to end, but I do always look forward to the days when I can wear comfy sweaters, leggings, and boots. I love this Thakoon red sweater and Vince color block sweater.
